La Limonta 1893, nata come azienda tessile più di un secolo orsono,
ha mantenuto questa vocazione fino ai nostri giorni, producendo
in questi 110 anni articoli caratterizzati da un'alta ricerca tecnico-estetica
prima nei tessuti jacquard, poi nei velluti, nei tessuti speciali e nei tessuti piani.
La divisione Interior Coverings ha sviluppato questa missione tessile,
arrivando ad essere un'azienda estremamente flessibile nella produzione
degli jacquards grazie ad un C.A.D. tessile molto avanzato e ad una sala telai
particolarmente aggiornata.
La ricerca stilistica molto sofisticata le consente di essere un partner
di riferimento per i più importanti editori tessili europei e di sviluppare con successo
una propria linea di prodotti finiti (Society) contraddistinta dalla approfondita ricerca
di qualità tessile senza compromessi.
La divisione Fabrics and Coatings produce dal 1955 tessuti speciali
per l'abbigliamento, pelletteria ed accessori, calzature.
È tra le pochissime aziende in Europa dotata al proprio interno di linee
di spalmatura, floccatura, resinatura, coagulazione, oltre ad un'estesa serie
d'impianti per completare il processo di nobilitazione tessile.
Grazie a questa completezza, ad un alto grado di innovamento
ed alla profonda conoscenza del mondo tessile, annovera
tra i propri clienti le migliori firme della moda internazionale ed è tra
le prime aziende mondiali nel settore. |

Limonta, which started out as a textile concern in 1893, has steadfastly pursued this vocation through to the present. It has done so by offering a product range which, over the last 110 years, has been distinguished by advanced technical and aesthetic solutions initially in jacquard weaves and later in velvet, specialist fabrics, and flat woven cloths.
The Interior Coverings division has pressed ahead with the group textile mission and developed into a firm with marked flexibility in the manufacture of jacquard fabrics thanks to a very advanced textile CAD system and a weave room that has kept well abreast of modern developments. Its stylistic creativity, which is highly sophisticated, makes it a prime partner for leading European textile-design houses while enabling it to develop its own line of home accessories (Society), the distinguishing feature of which is its uncompromising pursuit of textile quality.
The Fabrics and Coating division has, since 1955, been producing specialist fabrics for clothing, leather goods and accessories, as well as footwear. It can claim to be one of the very few firms in Europe to have its own in-house production lines for coating, flocking, resin impregnation, and coagulation, as well as a wide selection of plant for textile finishing processes.
